Welcome to New Learning Times (NLT), part of EdLab's portfolio of education products.
NLT is designed for the broad distribution of edtech news for educators, learners, researchers, and entrepreneurs. NLT, and all of EdLab's products, are provided to you with the following terms which you agree to by visiting our websites or using our products. They are legally binding, so read them carefully (but don't worry, it's nothing scary).
EdLab at Teachers College, Columbia University exclusively reserves all rights and privileges to the New Learning Times, including access rights and metadata.
During the course of your NLT experience, you may have the chance to share content or directly interact with other users.
Please only share content that belongs to you, or to which you have some express or implied fair use rights, and be sure that you attribute where required by applicable terms of service.
When comment fields or other modes of community publishing are available to you, please be respectful of others. EdLab will make no effort to police community traffic, so use good judgment when engaging with other users.
How we use your information
EdLab's websites install browser cookies to keep track of some information about your visits. This information includes what pages you viewed and for how long you viewed them, as well as some other simple things about the way you browse the content we provide. We study this information for clues to how users move through our publications and share content.
When you register to use our products and services we may also collect some basic personal information about you, but that information is kept anonymous.
In fact, all the data we collect are only reviewed in an anonymous fashion, and we will never try to guess your identity outside the context of our internal research. We also never share any of your personal information with any of our customers, suppliers, or partners. We do, however, reserve the right to share and publish the anonymized aggregate data, usually to develop products or substantiate academic pursuits.
Liability and Indemnification
