Beth Rosenberg refused to shortchange her child’s future simply because he was a special needs student. The key was finding something he could focus on and the answer was founding Tech Kids Unlimited. Four years later the non-profit technology-based educational organization is empowering special needs kids, ages 7 to 18, all over the city with the means to learn, create, develop, and share the tools of technology. Thanks to the skills and guidance imparted by local graduate students and technologists, these young students are more than equipped to pursue careers in tech that would otherwise be out of reach.
