Visiting professor and Fulbright scholar, Patricia Behar holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil where she currently works as a professor and researcher in both the Faculty of Education and postgraduate studies in Education and Computer Science in Education. Her work focuses on distance learning, technology in teaching and learning, and virtual environments. In addition to serving as the supervisor for 26 Masters theses, 28 PhD theses, and 4 Post-Doctoral candidates, Behar also holds five software patents including ROODA, a virtual learning environment. Patricia shared her past, current, and future endeavors at the EdLab seminar in October 2018.
